The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent police to give police protection at the time of celebrating Aadi Pongal Festival scheduled between 15.08.2025 to 16.08.2025 in Kanchanayakanpatti Nadar Uravinmurai Nalashangam Temple, namely, Arulmigu Sri Uchimahaliamman and Arulmigu Sri Devi Karumariamman, situated at Vellakottai Village, Arupukkottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, by considering his representations dated 24.07.2025 and 09.08.2025. 2.Though the prayer sought for in this writ petition has now become infructuous, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that when the petition was earlier taken up for hearing, this Court had
