(ORAL) Mr. Gursimran Singh Dhillon, Sub Divisional Magistrate- cum-Competent Authority for Land Acquisition (CALA), Amritsar-1, has joined the proceedings through video-conferencing and submits that the payment with respect to the 111 landowners, including the petitioners, was received; out of which, the amount of 91 landowners stands released; whereas the matter qua the remaining twenty (20) is pending. He further informs that in terms of previous order dated 17.03.2025, the verification was also carried out and it has been found that no landowner had been granted the same benefit twice. [3] In view of the above undertaking, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt petition, the same is disposed off accordingly. [4] Respondent No. 3-CALA shall be bound by the aforesaid undertaking. [5] Rule stands discharged. [6] Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed off.
