[2] By the present petition, the petitioner prays for issuing direction to the investigating agency to complete the process of investigation of FIR No. 22(2) 2022, Thoubal Police Station u/s 400 IPC 25(1-C) Arms Act, under Section 173(1) Cr.P.C. corresponding to Section 193(1) BNSS within a stipulated time. [3] It is submitted that the petitioner is not named in the FIR as an accused. However, his name along with others were mentioned in the report submitted by the investigating officer in connection with bail report of the persons named in the FIR. The Ld. Sessions Judge, Thoubal also refused to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner and others as they are not named in the FIR. [4] Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the investigation may be completed so that his name may be cleared. [5] Learned PP submits that this Court may pass appropriate order in the facts of the case. [6] In the circumstances, the SP, Thoubal may give direction to the investigating officer to complete the investigation of the FIR as expeditiously as possible.
