JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ----- For the Petitioner : Mr. Aman Kumar, Advocate For the State : Mr. Satish Prasad, A.P.P. --- 03/04.09.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No.86 of 2025 arising out of Chainpur P.S. Case No. 47 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. No. 94 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1) of the B.N.S., pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Gumla. On 25.10.2024, dead body of father-in-law of the informant namely Sunil Toppo was recovered from a place near the cycle shop of Prem Gope. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is in custody since 11 months. Learned A.P.P. has submitted that on the basis of confession of the petitioner an axe which was used in committing the murder of the deceased was recovered. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. The learned trial court shall expedite the trial.
