GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following: 3 VS,J W.P.No.14867 of 2024 THE HONOURABLE SMT JUSTICE V.SUJATHA WRIT PETITION NO: 14867/2024 ORDER: The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- “…to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction declaring the action of the Respondents not releasing the amount of Rs.7,90,365/- vide M Book No.949A, even after finalizing the bills, payable to the petitioner in relation to the works i.e., Jungle clearance and Desilting of uri vagu Near Mothukuru (V), Velugodu (M) in Kurnool District under Neeru- Chettu Programme, vide Agreement No.145/2018-19, dated 11.06.2018 is questioned, as the same is illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to pay for payment of amounts of Rs.7,90,365/- vide M Book No.949A with interest @24% per annum for the delayed amount to the petitioner in respect of execution of above mentioned work forthwith…” 2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies furnished a copy of the instructions of the Executive Engineer (FAC), T.G.P.Division No.1, Velugodu, Nandyal District, vide letter No.EE/TGP/DN.I/VEL/AB/Supdt/EC.1/438M, dated 09.09.2025, wherein it is stated that an amount of Rs.7,81,831.80/- was already paid to the petitioner vide reference No.RBI2712414004138, dated 26.09.2024 and an amount of Rs.69,557.40/- was already paid to the petitioner vide reference No.RBI0902544372371, dated 30.03.2025. 3. In view of the same, as the payment of the pending bills has already made to the petitioner, no further cause survives in this case. 4 VS,J W.P.No.14867 of 2024 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs.
