This petition is filed for the limited relief of direction to respondent No. 2 – the Scrutiny Committee to decide tribe claim of the petitioners of belonging to ‘Koli Mahadev’ scheduled tribe. There is extreme urgency in the matter that petitioner No. 1 is allotted college and the last date for submitting validity certificate is 04.09.2025. 2. The learned AGP appearing for both the respondents points out that the proposal for granting validity itself was moved recently in March, 2025 and that presently the Vigilance Cell Enquiry is being conducted and therefore, some reasonable period of time may be required to decide the tribe claim of the petitioners.
