The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gandey P.S. Case No. 17 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1)/3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, but cognizance has been taken under Section 108 of the B.N.S., pending in the court of Miss. Sushila Hansda, learned Judicial Magistrate, Giridih. Petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased Hemanti Marandi, who died due to poisoning in her matrimonial home. It was submitted that though the F.I.R. was registered under Section 103(1) of the B.N.S. but the police after investigation has submitted chargesheet under Section 108 of the B.N.S. It was further submitted that deceased has committed suicide because she suspected that the petitioner was having an extra marital affair. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Miss.
