The petitioner has preferred the present petition with the prayer to direct the respondent No.4/Chief Treasury Officer, District Azamgarh to make payment of family pension as and when it falls due along with orders. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner placed reliance upon letter dated 02.09.2024 written by District Panchayat Raj Officer, Azmagarh/respondent No.3 to the respondent No.4/Chief Treasury Officer, District Azamgarh to make payment of family pension but till date the same has not been paid. 3. On the other hand, it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that respondent No.4/Chief Treasury Officer, District Azamgarh will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.4/Chief Treasury Officer, District Azamgarh to take a decision in the matter most expeditious and preferably within four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
