The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No.124 of 2024, arising out of Tapkara P.S. Case No. 01 of 2022, for the offences registered under Sections 25(1-B)/a/25(6)/26/35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act, pending in the Court of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-III, Khunti. On 04.01.2022, Tapkara police apprehended co-accused Dupang @ Polous Topno and on search, a country made pistol and live cartridges were recovered from his possession. It was submitted that petitioner was not arrested at the spot. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has come in confession of co- accused. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-III, Khunti, in connection with S.T.
