The present application has been filed by the Petitioner seeking extension of time for making deposit in terms of the order dated 13th August, 2025. The operative portion of the same reads as under: “14. Under these circumstances, the Petitioner is permitted to deposit 50% of the pre deposit i.e. 50% of Rs 14,90,129/- is Rs 7,45,646/-, in addition to the pre deposit already made. Let the said deposit be made within six weeks. Upon such deposit being made by the Petitioner, the CESTAT shall hear the appeal of the Petitioner on merits. ” 3. The same is based on a document issued by Metro Heart Institute with Multispecialty, Faridabad as per which the Petitioner is stated to have been admitted into hospital due to various medical conditions. Counsel for the Respondent disputes the medical record on the ground that the same is not signed by any doctor and does not bear the seal of the hospital. 5. Considering the fact that even earlier, a substantial amount of reduction has already been made for the pre-deposit, the prayer which is not supported by proper documents would not be liable to be acceded to. 6. The ld. Counsel for the Petitioner submits that she has herself met the Petitioner who is unwell. Accordingly, taking the statement of the ld. Counsel on record, extension is granted till 10th November, 2025 to the Petitioner for making the pre-deposit. No further extension shall be granted to the Petitioner. 7.
