Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Khaga P.S. Case No. 03 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 80(2) and 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Sections 3 / 4 of the D.P. Act, pending in the court of Sri Arun Kumar Dubey, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Madhupur. Petitioner happens to be the father-in-law of the deceased Punam Devi, who died in her matrimonial home due to asphyxia because of hanging. It was submitted that no mechanical injury was found on the person of the deceased. It was further submitted that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner of any demand of dowry. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Arun Kumar Dubey, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Madhupur or his successor, in connection with Khaga P.S. Case No. 03 of 2025.
