Petitioner is working as Hostel Welfare Officer, SW Boys Hostel, Khurigam. As petitioner completed more than seven years and six months of service at the said station, in the general transfers, petitioner is now transferred to Social Welfare College Boys Hostel, Rajam, Vizianagaram District. Petitioner contends that as he has met with an accident in the year 2024 and suffered severe leg injury, he falls under the category of Persons with Disability and therefore, entitled for priority transfer in terms of Clause 4(iv)(d) of Finance (HR.I-PLG.&Policy) Department, dated 15.05.2025. For which, petitioner has already made a request by representation dated 23.05.2025 seeking to transfer to I.W.H.C. at Pathapatnam, Srikakulam District, in order to have a better medical G.O.Ms.No.23 V V X HCGR, J W.P. No. 14511 of 2025 now issued treatment. Despite the same, the respondents have transfer orders and posted him at Rajam. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice to direct the respondents to consider petitioner’s representation dated 23.05.2025. He further submits that petitioner will submit all medical records and disability certificate for consideration of his request for transfer. 5. Learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents, on the other hand, submits that petitioner has not submitted any other medical records except X-Ray, in the absence of which, it cannot be construed that petitioner falls within the category as enumerated in G.O.Ms.No.23, Finance (HR.I-PLG.&Policy) Department, dated 15.05.2025, for considering his request to post Pathapatnam, Srikakulam District. at I.W.H.C. 6. As petitioner has now come forward to submit all medical records, including the disability certificate, petitioner is permitted to furnish the same to the respondents within a period of one week from today and on furnishing the same, the respondents are directed to consider petitioner’s request dated 23.05.2025 for I.W.H.C. Pathapatnam, Srikakulam District, if the posting at same is otherwise vacant, having regard to his eligibility in terms of G.O.Ms.No.23, Finance (HR.I-PLG.&Policy) Department, dated 15.05.2025. 4 HCGR, J W.P.No.14511 of 2025 With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. 7.
