This writ petition has been filed for grant of following substantive reliefs:- “I) That the writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued to the respondents by directing to pay the revised emoluments for contract period of the petitioners @ minimum of pay scale (at the lowest grade, in the regular pay scale), extended to regular employees holding the same post of JBT w.e.f. date of 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes - 2 - contract appointment of the petitioners till their regularization along with applicable rate of DA. II. That case of the petitioner is squarely covered by the judgment passed by this Hon'ble court on dated 21- 03-2024 in CWP No 8148 of 2022, as such entitled for revised emoluments for contract period of the petitioners minimum of pay scale (at the lowest grade, in the regular pay scale), extended to regular employees holding the same post along with all consequential benefits. III That the arrears with interests at market rate on delay payment, on account of revision a, minimum of pay scale (at the lowest grade, in the regular pay scale), extended to regular employees holding the same post w.e.f. 01-01-2016, shall also be paid to the petitioners for the services rendered in the department on contract basis w.e.f. 12.09.2019 till 19.01.2022..” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 14.05.2025 (Annexure P-4) to respondent No.3 for claiming the above reliefs. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner would be content in case respondent No.3/competent authority is directed to decide the aforesaid representation within a fixed time schedule. Learned Assistant Advocate General is not averse to this prayer. 4. Having regard to the afore-submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents/ competent - 3 - authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner 14.05.2025 (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
