ORDER:-
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed a complaint against a group of persons who trespassed into the house of the petitioner and assaulted the petitioner and his family members.
2. It is submitted that the police has registered Crime No.242 of 2024 at Thulluru Police Station, Guntur District under Sections 79, 329(3), 324(4), 115(1), 118(1), 351(2) read with 3(5) BNS.
3. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has furnished CCTV footage in the form of a soft copy to the investigating officer.
4. It is also submitted that instead of completing investigation, the 4th respondent in denial of the accused is pressuring the petitioner to withdraw the complaint against them. Furthermore, despite the CCTV footage furnished by the petitioner, the 4th respondent has registered Crime No.244 of 2024 against the petitioner without duly considering the evidence.
5. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the Home.
6. Considering the said submissions, there shall be a direction to the 4th respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.242 of 2024 of at Thulluru Police Station, Guntur District, duly taking into consideration the CCTV footage submitted by the petitioner and completing the investigation by

taking all necessary steps. It is further directed that the 4th respondent shall not use any coercive or pressure tactics to compel the petitioner to withdraw the complaint and shall complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible.
7. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed off. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
