This petition has been filed for grant of following reliefs: - “i). That the respondents may be directed to grant family pension and other retrial benefits to the petitioner after the retirement of her husband in view of judgment rendered by the Apex Court in case of Sunder Singh and Balo Devi (Annexure P-5 and P-6) while issuing writ in the nature of mandamus. ii. That the respondents may be directed to pay the arrears of pension and other retiral benefits with 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? - 2 - interest @ 9% per annum from the due date till actual payment. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that case of the petitioner and reliefs prayed for, have been adjudicated upon in Sunder Singh Versus The State of Himachal Pradesh & Ors.2 and Balo Devi & others Versus State of Himachal Pradesh and others3 Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner would be content if the case of the petitioner is considered by the respondents in light of the aforesaid judgments. Learned counsel for the respondents has no objection to this prayer. 4. Having regard to above submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner in light of the aforesaid judgments and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
