Heard learned Special Public Prosecutor, Mr M Haloi, appearing on behalf of the respondent/CBI. 2. It is submitted on behalf of the applicant that in the interlocutory application, i.e., IA(Crl.) No. 499 of 2017, after the death of her father, her mother’s name was substituted to continue with the appeal, registered as Criminal Appeal No. 50/2011, vide order dated 20.09.2017, in IA(Crl.) No. 499/2017. The Registry was directed to substitute the name of Aruna Phukan, in place of her husband, Late Binoy Kumar Laskar. 3. It is submitted that Queen Laskar’s mother, Late Aruna Phukan, passed away on 26.08.2024. Now, the present applicant has prayed to continue with the appeal and has prayed for substitution of her name in place of her mother’s name, Late Aruna Phukan. 4. Learned Special Public Prosecutor has no objection. 5. Thereby, Registry is directed to substitute the name of Ms Queen Laskar, in place of Late Aruna Phukan, in Criminal Appeal No. 50/2011. 6.
