1. Heard Mr. A. Nair, the learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. S. H. Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that by order dated 04.12.2024, the petitioner, namely, Sri Kandarpa Chaliha was allowed to go on interim anticipatory bail by this Court and in pursuant to the directions of this Court, the
Page No.# 2/2 petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has co-operated in the Investigating Officer.
3. On the other hand, Ms. S. H. Bora, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced the case diary of Panbazar P.S. Case No. 258/2024 and has submitted that the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and his statement under Section 180 of BNS, 2023 has already been recorded.
4. Considering the fact that the petitioner has complied with the directions of this Court and has co-operated in the investigation, the interim anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 04.12.2024 is hereby made absolute with condition Nos. 2, 3 and 4 attached to the said order remaining intact.
5. With the above observations, this anticipatory bail application is disposed of.
