For the State : Mr. Shiv Shankar Kumar, A.P.P. …..... 6/24.04.2025 This is an application filed by the petitioner praying for grant of anticipatory bail in terms of Sections 482 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, as the petitioner has been allegedly implicated in a criminal case registered under Section(s) 20(b)(ii)(A) of the NDPS Act, in connection with Basia P.S. Case No. 06 of 2024, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla. Heard learned counsel for the parties at length and had gone through the documents, annexed along with this application. Opportunity was given to the State to oppose the bail, which the State availed and opposed. The allegation against this petitioner is that the apprehended accused was going to deliver the consignment of Ganja 800 grams to the petitioner. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to allow this anticipatory bail application. Accordingly, the prayer of anticipatory bail of the petitioner, above named, is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders, his case will be considered without being prejudiced by the order of this Court and also taking into consideration the status of the case of other co-accused persons.
