Petitioner has approached this Court through this writ petition for issuance of directions to the Divisional Commissioner, Meerut Division, Meerut to decide the appeal bearing Appeal/Case No. 208 of 2025, titled Firoz Vs. State of U.P., and stay the externment order dated 25.11.2024 passed by Additional District Magistrate, Bulandshahr in Case No. 3355 of 2024, under Section 3(1) U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970, Police Station Agauta, District Bulandshahr. Learned counsel for the petitioner is unaware about the status of the appeal when it was fixed for hearing on 31.1.2025 and 17.2.2025 before the appellate authority, which arises against the externment order dated 25.11.2024. Since, the grievance raised before this Court can alternatively be pressed before the appellate authority also, therefore, this Court is not inclined to exercise the extraordinary writ jurisdiction.
