He submits that charge sheet has been filed in the present case after the expiry of the mandatory period of 180 days from the date, petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody in the present case. Till date, no orders have been passed by the Trial Court on the application filed by the petitioner under Section 167(2) of Cr.P.C. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has produced order sheet of the Trial Court in Cr.No.285/2024 and perusal of the same would go to show that an application was filed by the petitioner under Section 167(2) of Cr.P.C and the same was taken on record by the Trial Court and the matter was adjourned on 18.12.2024 to enable the prosecution to file objection to the said application.
