The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Complaint Case No.20856 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 47(a) and 55 of the Excise Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi. On 21.06.2025, the house of the petitioner was raided and from there, about 517 liters of illicit liquors were recovered. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since 22.06.2025. It was further submitted that another co-accused, from whose house liquors were also recovered, has been granted bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi, in connection with Complaint Case No.20856 of 2025.
