GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: 2 “.... a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondent authorities more particularly the Respondent No.6 in opening the Rowdy Sheet Nos.01/2012 and 02/2012 in II Town Police Station II Town Visakhapatnam City Visakhapatnam District against the Petitioners even though the Petitioners were acquitted in the said criminal case Cr No 82/2012 vide S C No 144/2013 dated 29 12 2021 as illegal arbitrary and in violation of Articles 14 19 and 21 of Constitution of India and in utter violation of the judgment in W P Nos 21247/2016 and Batch dated 15 07 2022 rendered by the Honourable A P High Court and direct the Respondent authorities to close the Rowdy Sheet Nos 01/2012 and 02/2012 in II Town Police Station II Town Visakhapatnam City Visakhapatnam District opened against the Petitioners” 2. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that no cases are pending against the petitioners. It is further stated that, to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioners in the vicinity, Rowdy Sheets were opened against the Petitioners. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, the cases registered against the Petitioners were ended in acquittal and no cases are pending against them. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned Rowdy Sheet Nos.01 of 2012 and 02 of 2012 on the file of II Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam City, against the Petitioners are hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
