JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH ORDER Date : 19.02.2025 This is an appeal filed for stay of the judgment and award dated 15.07.2014 passed by the learned Commissioner, Workmen’s Compensation, Bajali Sub-Division, Barpeta in WC Case No.76/2013. 2. Taking into account that the accompanying appeal has been admitted, this Court is of the opinion that there is a requirement for stay of the execution of the judgment and award dated 15.07.2014 passed in WC Case No.76/2013. Accordingly, the impugned judgment and award is stayed subject to the applicant/appellant herein depositing the amount of Rs.1,31,027/- before the Registry of this Court within 6 (six) weeks from today. 3. The Respondent No.1 herein would be at liberty to file application before the Registry of this Court for the release of the said amount. It is further directed that upon such application being filed, the Registry of this Court after carrying out necessary verification and identification and upon furnishing of the bank particulars, release the said amount to the claimant/Respondent No.1. 4.
