Mr. Surya Chauhan, Advocate, for respondents No.1 to 5. CMP No.18786 of 2025 By way of this application, a prayer has been made by the applicant/appellant-United India Insurance Co. Ltd. for refund of amount in terms of the judgment passed by Coordinate Bench of this Court on 18th April, 2024 in FAO No.253 of 2017. On 06.08.2025, the Registry was called upon to calculate the amount refundable to the applicant/appellant and in response, it has been informed that as per the Registry an amount of Rs.10,38,091/- is the entitlement of claimant and further proportionate interest till release of the amount will also accrue. Learned counsel for the claimant does not dispute the above position. Accordingly, this application is allowed. An amount of Rs.10,38,091/-, out of the award amount lying in deposit in the Registry of this Court in FAO No.253 of 2017 with proportionate interest accrued thereon till date, is ordered to be released in favour of the applicant/appellant by remitting the same to its bank account as detailed in para-4 of the application, after due verification. Application is accordingly disposed of. CMP No.16945 of 2025 This application has been filed for release of award amount falling to the share of applicant Smt. Tara Devi/claimant No.1. The matter has attained finality on disposal of FAO No.253 of 2017 by Coordinate Bench of this Court vide judgment dated 18th April, 2024. Learned counsel for the non- applicant/appellant has no objection in granting the prayer made in the application. The Registry has reported that a sum of Rs.3,46,929/- is lying to the share of applicant/claimant No.1 Smt. Tara Devi. Accordingly, the application is allowed. The amount lying to the share of applicant/claimant No.1 Smt. Tara Devi along with proportionate interest accrued thereon till date is ordered to be released directly to her bank account, details of which have been provided in para-3 of the application, after due verification.
