By the present writ petition, the petitioner, who is widow of Late Fulsai who was employee of General Mazdoor Category-I in water Filter in S.E.C.L., Charcha Colliery who died in harness on 22.08.2023 is seeking appointment on compassionate ground. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner has applied for compassionate employment (Annexure P-3), within the period in prescribed format, but till date the respondents have not decided the application submitted by the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents appearing on advance copy, on instructions, submits that if the application of the petitioner for compassionate appointment is still pending, the same will be decided within a period of 50 days. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents. 5. Considering the submission made by learned counsel for the respondents, the writ petition is disposed off, with a direction to the respondents to decide the application of the petitioner for 3 compassionate appointment within a period of 50 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
