02/28.08.2025 Heard Mr. Anjani Kumar, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. Subodh Kr. Dubey, learned A.P.P.
This appeal is directed against the order dated 17.06.2025 passed in M.C.A. No. 806 of 2025 arising out of Karaikela P.S. Case No.09 of 2017 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Chakradharpur (Chaibasa) whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been alleged that a secret information was received that some of the named as well as unnamed extremists had assembled at village Hurangda near a bridge and were planning to damage the bridge by implanting bombs. On such information the C.R.P.F. personnel as well as the police officials had reached at the spot and had defused the bombs. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant has been implicated primarily on account of suspicion. It has further been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 16.06.2025. Learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant and has submitted that the appellant has got one criminal antecedent. Regard being had to the manner of implication, we while setting aside the order dated 17.06.2025 passed in M.C.A. No. 806 of 2025 arising out of Karaikela P.S. Case No.09 of 2017 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Chakradharpur (Chaibasa), direct that the appellant above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten
