APHC010228692025 IN THE HIGH COURT OF ANDHRA PRADESH AT AMARAVATI WP(PIL) NO: 86 of 2025 Bench Sr.No:-23 [3579] Praja Parirakshna Samithi ...Petitioner Vs. The State Of Andhra Pradesh and Others ...Respondent(s) ********** Advocate for Petitioner: Mr.J U M V Prasad Advocate(s) for Respondent(s): GP for Endowments Mr. N. V. S. Prasada Varma CORAM : THE CHIEF JUSTICE LISA GILL SRI JUSTICE NINALA JAYASURYA DATE : 24th June 2026 LISA GILL, CJ: Grievance raised in this writ petition filed in public interest is that respondent No.3 issued a tender giving preference to a few branded pharma companies. It is prayed that e-Tender notice No.TTD-83022(31)/5/2024 SMO SEC-TTD should be set aside on this account besides there being a prayer for interim stay of all proceedings in pursuance of said e-Tender. Learned counsel for respondents while submitting that condition inserted is neither unreasonable nor illegal, contended that it was actuated for the reasons set out in counter-affidavit. 2 HCJ & NJS, J W.P.(PIL) No:86 of 2025 Be that as it may, as of now, present writ petition is rendered infructuous because e-Tender notice No.TTD-83022(31)/5/2024 SMO SEC- TTD was cancelled and a fresh tender has been issued. Purchase Committee in its meeting held on 09.09.2025 accorded its approval and permission to procure emergency medicine and surgical items as required for TTD Hospitals, Tirumala and Tirupathi for the year 2025-26. TTD Board has approved and ratified the same on 28.10.2025. Learned counsel for petitioner has not denied that present writ petition is indeed rendered infructuous. Ordered accordingly. No costs. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
