Jyotsna Rewal Dua , J This writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive reliefs:-
“(i) That the respondents may kindly be directed to regularize the services of the present petitioner against the post of Junior Engineer w.e.f. 07.10.1998 i.e. from the date when the present petitioner was initially appointed on the post of Junior Engineer on contract basis with respondent No.3. (ii) That the respondents may very kindly be directed to pay all the arrears and consequential benefits w.e.f. 07.10.1998 alongwith upto date interest.”

“Learned counsel for petitioner and respondent No.3 submit that dispute involved in this case is covered under the decision rendered in CWP No.10250 of 2023 (Pramod Singh vs. State of H.P. & Ors.) decided on 25.10.2024. Learned Deputy Advocate General seeks time to go through the same. List on 07.05.2025.”
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner’s case is covered by the decision rendered in Pramod Singh Vs. State of H.P. & Ors.2 The directions issued in the case of Pramod Singh2 are attracted to the facts of the instant case as well.
4. When the matter was taken up today, learned Deputy Advocate General on the basis instructions submitted that the case of the petitioner is covered by the aforesaid decision.
5. Since the respondents have admitted that petitioner’s case is covered by the decision in Pramod Singh2, therefore, following the judgment in Pramod Singh2, this writ petition is allowed. Respondents are directed to regularize the services of the petitioner with effect from the date of his appointment on contract basis. This exercise shall be carried out within four weeks. The writ petition is disposed of in above terms. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
