In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent-University to recognize and reinstate the petitioner to the academic batch of 2024-25 of two year of the Master's course in Pharmacy (Drug Regulatory Affairs) in Respondent No.2-College. 3. Sri. S.S. Haveri, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.4-Pharmacy Council, has filed a memo enclosing a letter dated 23.06.2025. Referring to paragraph 5 of the said letter, he submitted that no - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23114 WP No. 7679 of 2025 relaxation/concession shall be granted for regularizing excess admissions made by Respondent No.2 College. 4. In view of the above submission and upon perusal of the material on record, I am of the opinion that, the respondent No.2-College shout not be permitted to admit the students beyond sanctioned intake allotment by the Pharmacy Council of India. In that view of the matter, any such excess admission amounts to violation of the Education Regulations in Pharmacy as notified in the Notification dated 10.12.2014 (Annexure-R1).
