------ CORAM: - HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH
----- For the Petitioners : Mr. Ritesh Kumar, Advocate
For the State
: Ms. Sushma Aind, A.P.P.
--- 02/29.08.2025
Heard the parties.
The petitioners have been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 218/2024 arising out of Palkot P.S. Case No. 27/2024 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 516/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 302/201 & 34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Gumla.
Bail Application of the petitioner no.1 Vishram Topno was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.532 of 2025 by order dated 27.01.2025. Deceased Charan Topno was missing since one month prior to the institution of this FIR. Petitioners and the co-accused persons have confessed that they had murdered the deceased. On the confession of petitioners and co-accused persons, skeleton and bloodstained wooden log was recovered. It was submitted that petitioners are in custody for more than a year and F.S.L. report is yet to be received. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Accordingly, their prayer for bail stands rejected.
