The appeal has been filed by the appellant-claimant against the judgment and award dated 16.08.2018 passed by the learned Commissioner for Employees’s Compensation, Cachar in E.C. Case No. 44/2017. 2. Ms. Hena Haflongbar, Assistant Manager of the New Insurance Company of the Insurance Company and the claimant No. (1) Sahab Uddin, and (2) Fulnehar Begum along with their learned counsel are present today i.e., 08.03.2025 in the National Lok Adalat. 3. The parties present before this Court jointly submit that the matter has been settled between the parties at an amount of Rs.9,90,000/-, as full and final amount. 4. In view of the above, the appeal stands closed with a direction that the Insurance Company shall deposit Rs.9,90,000/- being the full and final settlement before the Commissioner for Employees’s Compensation, Cachar within a period of 45 days from today. 5. The amount of Rs. 9,90,000/- shall be released equally between the two claimants. 6.
