BEFORE HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE LANUSUNGKUM JAMIR O R D E R 26.03.2025 Heard Mr. A. Boro, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Page No.# 2/2 Ms. R.M. Barua, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. P. Naik, learned counsel for the respondents has furnished an order dated 24.09.2024 issued by the Secretary, BTC, whereby the claim of the petitioner for payment against the works allotted from the Scheme under SCA to TSP and other Grants has been found not to be sustainable and accordingly rejected on the ground that the Work Orders were issued illegally/fraudulently with the malafide intention to cause huge loss to public exchequer. On consideration of the order dated 24.09.2024, this Court is of the considered opinion that the respondents have substantially complied with the direction passed by this Court. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. The order dated 24.09.2024 is placed on record.
