Bordoloi, learned counsel appearing for the alleged contemnor by placing a copy of the order dated 07.01.2025, passed by the District Commissioner, Nagaon, submits that the order of this Court dated 22.05.2024 passed in WP(C) 2650/2024 has duly been complied with. It is submitted that the District Commissioner, Nagaon has directed the Additional District Commissioner, i/c, Nazarat Branch, Nagaon, to make necessary arrangement to disburse the sanctioned amount of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees two lakh) only to the next kin of the deceased person. Having considered above, this Court is of the opinion that the order of this Court has duly been complied with. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed.
