This Writ Petition pertains to correction of the name of the father of the petitioner in his Metriculation Certificate as well as in the school records. It is noticed that on 04.08.2017, the learned counsel for the C.B.S.E has submitted that approval has been granted for rectification of the name of the father of the petitioner in the Metriculation Certificate and a fresh certificate is awaiting for the signature of the Comptroller of the Examination. From the above submissions it appears that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed and therefore, Writ Petition has become infructuous.
