The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the 5th respondent, at the behest of third parties, is interfering and calling the petitioners in connection with the civil dispute pending between the petitioners and the said third parties. It is submitted that after filing of the Writ Petition, the police have registered a crime against the petitioners under Section 318 of the BNS. 3. Considering the same, there shall be a direction to the Investigating Officer to follow the procedure as contemplated under Section 35(3) of the BNSS for the purpose of investigation of any crime registered against the petitioners, if the offences charged against the petitioners are below seven years. 4.
