In the instant petition, petitioner herein seeking a direction upon respondents to provide a commercial electric connection to the two shops of the petitioner located in the first floor of petitioner’s house bearing No. 123, situated at Main Road Opposite Digiana Ashram, Jammu. It is stated that the father of the petitioner had constructed a house bearing No. 123, at Main Road Opposite Digiana Ashram, Jammu over a piece of land measuring 01 Kanal comprising Khasra No. 427 min, wherein he had constructed shops on the floor. Petitioner approached the respondents for providing commercial connection to the aforesaid shops since the same are being used for commercial purpose, thereby, moving an application duly supported by the requisite documents. 02. It is stated that instead of allowing the application of the petitioner, the respondent No. 3 vide his communication No. CEJ/Court/Mis/1460 dated Sr.No. 66 2 WP(C) No. 254/2021 26.11.2020, has kept application on hold thereby citing a reason that the litigation is pending in respect of land comprising Khasra No. 427 min viz, “Harnam Singh vs. Amrit Kour” pending before the learned City Judge, Jammu and “Amrit Kour vs. UT of J&K before this High Court, wherein learned City Judge has passed status quo with respect to the land in dispute. 03. Learned counsel for the respondents has produced Order No. 06-JPDCL of 2022 dated 10.01.2022, wherein in terms of which petitioner has to approach the Internal Grievance Redressal (IGR) Cell for Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), Jammu. 04. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he has no objection, if the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to approach Internal Grievance Redressal (IGR) Cell, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), Jammu for redressal of his grievance. 05. In view of the above, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to approach the Internal Grievance Redressal (IGR) Cell, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), Jammu for redressal of his grievance.
