The land comprised in survey no.262/1 to an extent of 1.35 acres situated at Alankottai Village, Thirupalakudi Revenue Village, Mannargudi Taluk, Tiruvarur District was purchased by the petitioner by the sale deed dated 04.06.1972. Subsequently the petitioner had also purchased land to an extent of 47 cents in the very same survey number on 13.07.1972 registered vide document No.1833 of 1972. However, the said land is classified as natham. 3. Though the petitioner is cultivating the said land, she cannot be issued any patta. Therefore, the petitioner was treated as encroacher and the second respondent allotted the subject land in favour of 20 benefeciaries and patta was also issued in their favour on the basis of GO.ms.No.318 Revenue 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP.No.34343 of 2019 and Disaster Management Department dated 30.08.2019. The beneciaries have occupited their respective plots and they constructed their respective houses. Therefore, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the impugned order. 4. In view of the above discussion, this writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
