Patgiri, learned counsel for the applicant. This Interlocutory Application has been filed by the applicant seeking impleadment of the Accountant General (A&E) Assam, Beltola, Maidamgaon, Guwahati-29 as respondent in the accompanying writ petition being WP(C) No. Page No.# 3/3 5192/2022 in which the petitioner is claiming for compassionate family pension along with the death benefits relating to the services rendered by the late husband of the writ petitioner. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the applicant that the Office of the Accountant General (A&E) is necessary party in the writ petition being WP(C) No.5192/2022, as the matter relates to the grants of pensionary benefits and the same will have to be sanctioned by the Office of the Accountant General (A&E). The learned counsel for the applicant further submits that due to oversight at the time of filing the writ petition the Office of the Accountant General (A&E) could not be arrayed as a party respondent. The learned counsel representing the PNRD Department as well as the State Counsel representing the State respondents do not object to the prayer made. Under such circumstances, the Interlocutory Application stands allowed, the Accountant General (A&E), Assam, Beltola, Maidamgaon, Guwahati-29 is arrayed as party respondent No.8 in WP(C) No.5192/2022. The Interlocutory Application is accordingly disposed of. The learned counsel for the applicant will file the amended cause title before the Registry during the course of this week.
