APPEAL NO.140/2019 VIDE ANNEXURE-A. THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR ORDERS, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ ORAL ORDER 1. Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: “[a] call for the records, peruse the same, allow the Writ Petition, issue a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 07.11.2024 passed by the Karnataka appellate Tribunal, Bengaluru, in COP. APPEAL No.140/2019 vide Annexure-A, or [b] in the alternative pass such other order/s as this Hon'ble Court deem fit to pass on the facts and in the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo dated 20.6.2025, which reads as under: “Petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition seeking a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 07.11.2024 passed by the Karnataka - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23795 WP No. 9568 of 2025 Appellate Tribunal, Bengaluru, in COP Appeal No.140/2019. 2. On 30.05.2025 the First Respondent made a request agreeing to receive Rs.20,00,000/- in full and final settlement of his claim. Petitioner management has accepted the same and also paid Rs.10,00,000/- on 30.05.2025. Hence, the above Writ Petition may be disposed of as settled out of Court. A copy of the letter dated 31.05.2025 of the First Respondent and the Pay Order dated 30.05.2025 issued to him is produced for kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court.” 3. Accepting the said memo and the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the dispute has been settled amicably between the parties, the petition is dismissed as settled out of Court.
