THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, JUDGMENT WAS DELIVERED THEREIN AS UNDER: Digitally signed by CHAITHRA Location: High Court of Karnataka - 2 - NC: 2025:KHC:11861-DB CCC No. 307 of 2025 CORAM: HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. JUSTICE N. V. ANJARIA and HON'BLE MR JUSTICE M.I.ARUN ORAL JUDGMENT (PER: HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. JUSTICE N. V. ANJARIA) The following is the order passed by I Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru, which is brought under the contempt jurisdiction of this Court under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 by filing the present petition. 2. The order, in its operative part, reads as under:- “Memo dated 24/1/2025 filed by the respondent is hereby allowed. Respondent is permitted to take the minor son along with her to wedding ceremony of her first cousin at Jaipur, subject to his health condition.” 3. The order thus permits the respondent-complainant herein- mother to take the minor son along with her to a wedding ceremony, subject to the health condition of the son. 4. When asked about the date of the wedding ceremony, learned advocate Ms. Lekha Jain for the complainant stated that - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:11861-DB CCC No. 307 of 2025 the wedding ceremony was scheduled to take place during the period from 05.02.2025 to 09.02.2025. 5. Admittedly, the event of wedding is over long back. The permission was given to the mother to take the son to the said wedding ceremony. At this stage, the present contempt petition cannot be said to be surviving. 6. The court is not inclined to take any cognizance since the direction has become infructuous due to efflux of time. 7. The present contempt petition is dismissed in view of the above observation. Sd/- (N. V. ANJARIA) CHIEF JUSTICE Sd/- (M.I.ARUN) JUDGE Bss List No.: 1 Sl No.: 13
