The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chowka P.S. Case No. 31 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 302/201/34/506 of the I.P.C., pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Seraikella. On 23.05.2024, husband of the informant namely Santosh Rai went missing. Allegation has been levelled against the in-laws of the informant that due to the money dispute, they might have committed his murder. Suspicion has been raised against the in-laws of the informant and this petitioner that due to the money dispute they might have committed his murder. Attention has been drawn towards, the statement of the independent witnesses Sanjit Layek and Lal Layek, who have stated that the deceased has met with an accident and his family members has taken him to the hospital, but he died during the course of treatment. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Seraikella, in connection with Chowka P.S.
