The entire amount has been paid through demand draft. As on date, the full cheque amount has been settled. With regard to the interest for cheque amount, the counsel for the petitioner has raised objections. However, a civil suit between the parties is still pending. Since the cheque amount has been paid, there is no necessity to proceed further. The entire cheque amount having been paid, the petitioner is acquitted from all the charges. 3.
