Order on Writ Petition Although no specific relief has been sought for in the writ petition in this regard, but the grievance of the petitioner, who is a member of the Modern Garden Cooperative Housing Society Ltd., Kanpur is that election of the Committee of Management of the society is not being conducted. Sri Narendra Kumar Giri, learned counsel appearing for newly respondent no.5-U.P. State Cooperative State Election Commission, Lucknow has stated that election shall be conducted within two months. In view of the statement made, this writ petition is disposed of directing respondent no.5-U.P. State Cooperative State Election Commission, Lucknow to ensure that election of the Committee of Management namely Modern Garden Cooperative Housing Society Ltd., Kanpur be held positively within two months from today. The other respondents shall also act in tandem with the State Election and ensure compliance of this order within the time specified above.
