2. A case has been registered against the pe{I'tiOner and others for the offences under sectl-ons 20(b)(Ii)(C), 25 read with 8(c) of the NarcotI-C Drugs ` and PsychotropI-C Substances Act. 3.
case of the prosecution, in brief, js that, on 28.6.2024 at about 10.00am, on receipt of credible ,-nformatjon regarding I-llegal possession and transportation of ganja, the s.I of police, along wl-th staff and mediators, rushed to Ral]agedda, KappagondI| junction and conducted vehicle checking. At that time, they found four persons I-n SuSPiCIfOuS circumstances. on seeing poll-Ce, the sat-d Persons tried to escape. Then police apprehended them. on interrogation, they disclosed their identity partjcu[ars as A1, A4 to A6 and police seized 151.66 kgs of ganja from their possession. They confessed that the inivolvement of A2 and A3 in transportatl'on of the ganja. police set-Zed the contraband, arrested the accused and got trlem remanded to judicI'al custody. police arrested the petitioner,on 16.5.2025 and since then the petitioner is in judicial remand. 4. Heard. Perusedtherecord. 5. Learned Assistant public prosecutor submits that the court may pass appropriate orders. '

A perusal of the material available on record goes to show that the petI'tI|Oner Was arrested and remanded to judicI'al Custody On 16.5.2025. police, on credible information, seized 151.66 kgs of ganja from the other accused. pursuant to the confessional statement of co-accused, the petitioner was arrested. No I-nCriminat[-ng material has been seized from the t\ •r -rf-*. - -- --- // To, 3 petitioner to connect the petitioner with the crime. Basing on the confessional statement of co-accused, the petitioner has been arrested and remanded to judicI'al Custody. 7. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this court js inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A2 hereI-n, On the following conditions. (i) The petitioner/A2 herein shall be released on hi`s executing a Personal bond for Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned I AdditI|Ona' DI'StrI-Ct and SessI-OnS Judge-Gum-special Judge for Trial of Offences under the NDPS Act, VI'SakhaPatnam,I (ii) On release, the petitioner shall appear before the station House officer concerned once lln a Week i.e, on every Sunday between 10.00 a.m. and 05.00 p,m., till filing of charge sheet,
