This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, wherein the petitioner is aggrieved by the recovery proceedings initiated against him pursuant to the recovery citation dated 13.10.2025 issued by respondent no. 2 for a sum of ₹7,22,866/-, annexed as annexure no.2 to the writ petition. 2. At the outset, the petitioner expressed his willingness to deposit the entire amount in easy installments. 3. Learned counsel for respondent no. 3–Bank made a statement at the Bar that a sum of ₹7,22,866/- is outstanding against the petitioner and that, if the petitioner pays the aforesaid amount in four equal quarterly installments, the writ petition may be disposed of in those terms. 4. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for respondent no.3–Bank, and considering the fact that the petitioner is willing to pay the outstanding amount in four easy quarterly installments, the writ 1 petition stands disposed of in the following terms: A. The petitioner shall pay an amount of ₹1,00,000/- towards the outstanding dues on or before 06.05.2026. B. The remaining amount shall be paid by the petitioner in four equal quarterly installments of ₹1,55,716.50/- each on or before 06.08.2026, 06.11.2026, 06.02.2027, and 06.05.2027. C. The last installment shall carry the interest accrued thereon. D. In the event the petitioner fails to deposit any of the installments as directed hereinabove, respondent no.3– Bank shall be at liberty to recover the entire balance amount in one go, in accordance with law.
