He further submits that on the basis of the 3 complaint made by unknown person, the revenue authorities cannot cancel the lease (patta) while exercising its jurisdiction under Section 50 of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959 (for short, ‘Code, 1959’), hence he prayed that the order dated 20.12.2021 be set aside. 4 Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submit that there is alternative efficacious remedy available to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authority. 5 In that view of the matter, instant petition is dismissed, reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner to take recourse to law by filing appropriate application before the appropriate forum under Part-IV of the Revenue Book Circular.
