The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 421/2023 arising out of Tonto P.S. Case No. 31/2023, for the offences registered under Sections 376(1) & 506 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-I, West Singhbhum at Chaibasa. 3. On 14.06.2023, there was some dispute between the prosecutrix and her husband. Prosecutrix went to the house of petitioner and stayed there overnight. It is alleged that petitioner had raped her during night. 4. Statement of the prosecutrix was recorded during trial, in which she has stated that petitioner had tried to strangulate her. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Addl.
