The petitioner, who is a retired employee under the respondent Department, preferred the present writ petition seeking a direction towards the respondent authorities to release the leave encashment amounting to Rs.3,29,000/-. 2. At the very outset, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.3, on advance copy, by placing the communication dated 28/04/2025 issued by the respondent No.3/ Nagar Panchayat, Tundra, District Balodabazar-Bhatapara, would submit that the Office of Nagar Panchayat, Tundra has, after due verification, directed the concerned bank for payment of Rs.3,16,496/- to the petitioner towards the leave encashment. A copy of the said communication has been produced before this Court, which is taken on record. 3. In view of the submission made by the counsel for the respondent, the writ petition is disposed of as nothing remains in this petition for adjudication.
