The petitioner herein, who is the 9th defendant in a suit for partition filed an appeal challenging the judgment and decree passed by the Trial Court dated 28.01.2016. The appeal has been pending on the file of learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Chengalpattu for the past 9 years without much progress. 3. A perusal of the adjudication sheet filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that the appeal was posted for arguments as early as 28.03.2019. Thereafter, there is no much progress.
