Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. case No.32 of 2025 arising out of Jugsalai P.S. Case No. 21 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 21, 22, 27(a), 28, 29 & 30 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Jamshedpur.
On 27.02.2025 at about 2:40 P.M., Jugusalai police apprehended about 13 persons from Parwati Ghat and on search about 143 grams of brown sugar were recovered from their joint possession.
It was submitted that petitioner was neither arrested at the spot nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has come in confession of apprehended co-accused persons. It was finally submitted that some of the co-accused persons who were arrested at the spot, have been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Jamshedpur, in connection with N.D.P.S. case No.32 of 2025 arising out of Jugsalai P.S. Case No. 21 of
2025.
